Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards

The Northeastern University Center for Family Business annually presents three family businesses, based on size, with recognition as Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards.

Recipients of the Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Awards are selected by a panel of independent judges based on the following criteria:
• Business success
• Positive business and family linkages
• Multi-generational family involvement
• Contributions to the community and industry
• Innovative business practices or strategies

Certificate of Generational Achievement

Certificates of Generational Achievement are given to family businesses annually as part of the Northeastern University Massachusetts Family Business Awards program to recognize the hard work and accomplishment of those family businesses that successfully in achieve generational transition and continuity in their business. 

Certificates of Generational Achievement are given to family businesses that succeed to the second generation, thirty percent club; and those that succeed to the third generation family business, twelve percent club; and those that succeed to the 4th or longer, three percent club.
